Hmmmm......

My hair never does what I tell it to do.
So, I let it run wild and let my face tell the story.

The New Love of My Life

Always listen to your mother. That is my advice to you, because I recently had the good fortune to once again heed her words and in the outcome I was once again blessed. My family and I decided to purchase the new ESV (English Standard Version) study bibles from our church. We had to order them in advance and and wait a good five months before they were delivered. When October rolled around, the month we were to receive our bibles, my anticipation was at its height. I am in a rigorous bible study and the new features included in this bible would be very helpful. We were finally called to pick up the bibles; included with the bibles was a free code to access the whole bible online with the features and all. My mother reminded us continually for months afterward to keep the little piece of paper and to register as soon as possible as to not lose the code. I was soon rolling my eyes affectionately and "yeah, yeah, yeah-ing" to get her to stop pestering me. I never thought that I was going to use the online bible; I had the tangible bible, I would use that. After two weeks of carrying the 20 pound weight around and nearly breaking my back, my mother's words resounded in my head. I dug out the little piece of paper with the code and logged on. My world changed. I LOVE the online bible as a resource! My paradigm of studying the bible had made its shift. The website is masterfully constructed to operate at the highest possible ease to the user. Once again I learned my lesson, a lesson that I will most likely learn again in the future. No matter what my age, my mother will always have some sort of imput and I will just have to remember that mother knows best.
